Trail location - The Causeway to the Downs Link
The Steam Mill ground grain from around 1872, using plentiful supplies of coal from the nearby railway. After competition from more efficient local mills, it ceased milling in c1900. Since then it has had various uses and is currently the premises of a furniture makers.
